Se puede cambiar el entorno grafico de AirUbuntu v5?

se puede cambiar el entrono grafico a KDE? o algun otro? no me gusta mucho Mate.

de no ser posible el cambio del entrono me gustaria poder arrelgar el icono de control de volumen quiero que aparesca en la barra, y tambien ver si se puede invertir la ruedita del mouse para hacer el scrool, alreves! nose si me explico. desde ya gracias!

a la hora de crear AirUbuntu yo estuve probando muchos, va casi todos, el problema que cada uno tiene su cosita rara viste, te paso unos pasos:

KDE:

add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa
apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade && sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop


(OJO con el upgrade y los repositorios de backtrack) y listo luego hay que iniciar como KDE.




XFCE:

apt-get install xubuntu-desktop





Luego quitas mate si quieres:

Remove mate-desktop

KDE:

add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa
apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade && sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop


(OJO con el upgrade y los repositorios de backtrack) y listo luego hay que iniciar como KDE.




XFCE:

apt-get install xubuntu-desktop





Luego quitas mate si quieres:

Remove mate-desktop


creo que era.

tengo que tener cuidado con los repositorios? o sea no debo sacar las ## de las lineas del backtrack, pero lo del (upgrade) no lo entendi

los ## deben estar marcados, asi no toma los repositorios del backtrack, ya que si estí¡n activados (sin los ##), se te va a actualizar el airubuntu a backtrack pasando de nucleo ubuntu 11.10 a 10.04; y no lo recomiendo por la infinidad de errores que ha tirado.

ya pase a kde, pero me quedo un kilombo el menu con los programas , hay alguna manera de ordenarlos?

quiero usar Airbuntu como mi distro principal, y no se como ordenar el menu de aplicaciones , esta todo entreverado

Que tal Chelopapo? Jamas se me ocurriria hacer ese cambio, adoro mi Gnome :-*, pero cada loco con su tema :D

Para ordenar el lio que has de tener en ese entorno, debes instalar primero Gnome Menu Extended y luego K Menu Gnome... pero por lo que lei esto se hacia antes del empezar a instalar Kde.

Gracias por los consejos Ernestux , me quedaria con MATE pero no me deja instalar varios programas por ejemplo (xchat) o y hacerlo , intete hacerlo modificando los repositorios (le saque todas las # menos las de BT5) y no me aparece en sinapyc el XCHAT .
